Description

Knauf Insulation cylinders are made of mineral wool bound with synthetic resin.

Application

Knauf Insulation cylinders and Knauf Insulation cylinders AL are designed for the thermal insulation of pipelines of various diameters. The ultimate negative temperature of surfaces to be insulated is minus 180 degrees Centigrade. The maximum positive temperature of surfaces is to be calculated on the basis of the ultimate permissible temperatures on the surface of the thermal insulation layer.

Knauf Insulation Cylinders:

• are distinguished by the shape stability;
• can be matted with aluminium foil;
• it is micro-organism and rodent-resistant;
• is chemically neutral: it does not increase the corrosivity in case of the direct contact with metal;
• require additional humidity protection;
• are easily mounted on the pipeline and can be processed by cutting and sawing.
